How do I choose between an ionophore and a chemical coccidiostat?
Ionophores such as Monensin and Salinomycin give broad cover with very low resistance; chemicals such as Diclazuril and Clopidol are highly potent and useful for clean-up or rotation. Many programs alternate the two — our technical team can recommend the best fit for your challenge.
What is a shuttle or rotation program?
A shuttle program uses different anticoccidials within a single flock cycle, while rotation changes products between cycles. Both strategies help preserve efficacy and delay resistance, and most Zuriq products are formulated to fit them.
Is there a withdrawal period?
It depends on the molecule. Several growth promoters — including ZuriBMD 100 and ZuriAVILA 100 — are not absorbed from the gut and require no withdrawal period. Always follow the product label and your local regulations.
How are the products packed and stored?
Products ship as free-flowing granular or premix in 25 kg BOPP bags. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. The granular form mixes homogeneously and reduces losses from dusting.
What inclusion rate should I use?
Each product lists a recommended inclusion rate per tonne of finished feed. These are guidelines — our technical team or your nutritionist can tailor dosing to your feed formulation and challenge level.
