ZuriMON 200
Monensin 20%
The benchmark polyether ionophore for coccidiosis prevention in broilers.

About ZuriMON 200
ZuriMON 200 contains monensin sodium at 200 g per kg — the most widely used ionophore anticoccidial in global poultry production. As a polyether ionophore, monensin selectively disrupts intracellular sodium and potassium transport in coccidia, causing osmotic swelling and death across the early, most damaging stages of the Eimeria lifecycle.
Why choose ZuriMON 200
Proven Ionophore Efficacy
Monensin is the global benchmark ionophore anticoccidial with decades of field data.
Broad Eimeria Coverage
Effective against E. acervulina, E. tenella, E. maxima, E. brunetti, E. mivati, E. praecox, and E. necatrix.
Natural Mode of Action
Ionophore mechanism is inherently different from chemical coccidiostats.
Performance Support
Prevents subclinical coccidiosis, maintaining FCR and weight gain.
Shuttle Program Flexibility
Can be alternated mid-cycle with chemical coccidiostats for resistance management.
Homogeneous Mixing
Granular premix formulation ensures even distribution in feed.
How ZuriMON 200 works
Ion Transport Disruption
Monensin forms lipid-soluble complexes with sodium and potassium ions, disrupting the electrochemical gradient.
Osmotic Swelling
Disruption of intracellular ion balance causes uncontrolled water influx and osmotic swelling.
Cell Membrane Rupture
Progressive osmotic pressure ruptures the parasite cell membrane, causing irreversible cell death.
Lifecycle Block
Eliminating parasites at earliest intracellular stages prevents the massive tissue-damaging replication cycles.
Recommended dosage & use
Always follow veterinary guidance. The dosages below are standard recommendations; higher doses may be advised during disease challenges or deficiency conditions.
